The 2020 Pinot Noir Subsollum is sourced from Puchuncavi in the Aconcagua Coast region. Fermented with 10% whole clusters and aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels, this cherry-red wine delivers the classic herbaceousness of the stems along with a fruit note. Dry, compact and refreshing, it offers a mild palate with lasting fruitiness—a savory coastal Pinot. - Joaquin Hidalgo

The 2020 Subsollum Pinot Noir comes through as serious and austere despite the warm vintage, with only 13.5% alcohol and good freshness. Only 15% of the wine matured in oak, and it only adds a faint note of spice. The vineyard was planted in 2007 with Burgundy selections of Pinot. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in concrete and 15% in barrel. It's a different profile from the more approachable Pour ma Gueule, more serious. - Luis Gutierrez

Very pale in the glass, this has such flinty, gun-smoke aromas, freshly ground baking spices and a light, bright, red-cherry edge, following through to a crisp, fresh and vibrant palate. Delicate and attractively defined tannins here.

- Niels Lillelund
It's a light and fragrant expression of the grape, with a soft, mellow palate and varietal notes, very easy to drink and pleasant. And it's a great price for the pleasure it delivers. Clean, pure and fruit-driven, from grapes harvested before the rain. - Luis Gutierrez

"Very ripe aromas of plum and dried fruits. Dried nuts too. Full body, very rich and velvety textured. Juicy and flavorful. Turns fresh and beautiful. A blend of pinots from different vineyards from different areas in Chile. Mostly Colchagua Costa. Really a second wine of all the single vineyard wines."

Deep, bright red. Tightly wound and focused on the nose, displaying mineral-laced red berry and cherry aromas and a hint of blood orange. Distinctly fresh and energetic Pinot Noir, offering sappy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that deepen as the wine opens up. The mineral quality repeats strongly on the long, subtly tannic finish, which leaves a berry skin note behind. - Josh Raynolds

The 2014 Subsollum Pinot Noir blends grapes from Pucalán in Aconcagua Costa (75%) planted at eight kilometers from the ocean with 10,000 plants per hectare, plus 25% grapes from Itata. The hand-harvested grapes fermented with a long maceration and aging sur lie, and the wine was kept in cement tanks until bottling. There is a leafy side, more a sensation of decayed leaves, a bit musky and earthy. The palate is light to medium-bodied with great freshness that provides a lively, electric sensation and sweet and sour cherry flavors. This is a great value Pinot Noir with character at an unbelievable price - Luis Gutierrez
