Ren Pinot Noir fra tre plots på i alt fire ha i Gevrey-Chambertin dyrket biodynamisk. Vinificeret uden tilsætning af gær og med 35-40 % hele klaser. Lagret på små fade, hvoraf ca 10 % er nye, i et års tid.

Den har en meget flot kombination af Gevrey’s maskuline struktur og en saftig, elegant frugt. Letkrydret med aromaer af røde bær. Fine tanniner og god friskhed.

Klassisk Bourgogne er alsidige madvine. Går fint til lette retter med stegt fisk, lyst fjerkræ, fuglevildt og kalvekød, svampe og kål fungerer rigtig som tilbehør.

The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes comes from 65-year old vines and matures in 15% new oak. This has a more flamboyant and extrovert bouquet than the Beaune Les Tuerons, though that is partly because it had just undergone the racking. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, a "gutsy" Gevrey with good substance and brims over with freshness on the finish. What a delicious, charming Gevrey from Rossignol-Trapet - this comes highly recommended. - Neal Martin
