Topvinen fra Gripa på 100 % Syrah fra ejendommens bedst beliggende og ældste stokke med en alder på over 70 år. - hovedsageligt i lieux dit Saint-Joseph. Vinmarkerne er på stejle skråninger med granitholdig jord, hvor der plantes i terrasser. Vinificeret med delvis afstilkning og modnet 12 måneder på barriques - op til 20 % nye.
Intens aroma af brombær, blåbær, peber, modnet kød, sorte oliven, røg og viol. tæt mundfylde med frisk syre og god frugtintensitet og faste tanniner. Meget lang eftersmag. Noget af det bedste der fås fra Saint Joseph!
Strålende madvin - bør gemmes mindst 10 år fra høståret og drikkes til krogmodnet oksekød eller vildt.
