No whole bunches for the Vosne-Romanée Beaumonts, and not racked. Very intense but lively purple, a little oak and a faint reduction, less than the Charmes, on the nose. Blueberries (and cream from the oak) on the palate, all quite explosive, needs the racking to settle down, but this shows great promise with good acidity behind. - Jasper Morris MW
