    Cairanne Resérve des Seigneurs 2018 Oratoire Saint Martin

    Lavet på 60 % Grenache, 30 % Mourvèdre og 10 % Syrah fra ca. 50 år gamle stokke. Lagret 9 måneder på fade og cementtank.

    Fint koncentreret duft med elementer af viol, brombær, jordbær og lakrids samt timian og rosmarin. Smagen er mellemfyldig med let tanninbid, mineralitet og en lakridset eftersmag.

    This has expressive dark fruits that are distinctly spicy with good depth and very well-rounded texture. There’s a faintly flinty reductive edge at this stage but with a good sense of harmony, freshness and balance. It’s longer on the finish than many of its peers in this vintage and lively, if not terribly deep or long. From 50-year-old vines grown on clay limestone soils, all destemmed.
